Sunday Read #1 with Index Teen Advisory Board
18 May 2025, 13:00–15:00

What stories shape the art world, and who gets to tell them?
How can writing challenge power, rewrite norms, or make space for what’s missing?
What happens when we talk about art in our own words?
Sunday Read is a monthly gathering for anyone aged 16–21 who wants to read, think, and talk about contemporary art together.
Each session, we’ll explore different kinds of art-related texts, from poems and short stories to exhibition texts, artists’ writings, and something called art theory. Don’t worry if that sounds unfamiliar! Art theory just means thinking and writing about art: how it works, what it means, and why it matters.
You don’t need to know anything beforehand. Just bring your curiosity, your thoughts, and an openness to listen and share.
Free and open to anyone aged 16–21
