A workshop for performance making on the water with Index learning team and Jens Evaldsson from the rafts and learning project Maretopia. Using Maretopia ratfs and the waterfront as a starting point, the workshop will focus on how to use the water as a political and metaphorical space in the city center, between utopia and border. The works will be performed at Index summer festival. To register your interest contact bronwyn@indexfoundation.se. More |
Using language and her voice as materials, Hanne Lippard is one of the artists presented in our current exhibition ARS VIVA 2016. The workshop looks at Lippard’s work as a starting point to discuss orality as a site of bodily and personal manifestation of poetry. Through easy exercises, reading aloud, discussion, and composing small poems, we will explore the corporeality of language. More |
