Preview: Claudia Pagès

Claudia Pagès (Barcelona, 1990) works in between video and performance. Her video installations offer a special physicality while observing social and economic situations: a harbour, the life of some communities, jurisdictional language and social architec-tures, and bodies in circulation. The exhibition at Index will present some of her works for the Nordic countries for the very first time.

The work by Claudia Pagès has been shown at Chisenhale (London), MACBA (Barcelona), Gasworks (London), Paris Internationale, CAPC (Bordeaux) and Casa Encendida among other venues. The central work of the exhibition was presented for the first time at Manifesta15 in Barcelona and produced with support by Index.
