Hanni Kamaly recipient of The Academy of Fine Arts' Inez Leander Award

Artist Hanni Kamaly is the 2026 recipient of the Inez Leander Award, awarded by the Academy of Fine Arts’ Prize Committee. Congratulations Hanni!

Excerpt from the jury motivation:
On thin spider legs and with obvious poise, Hanni Kamaly’s sculptures enter the exhibition space and take possession of it. Rooted in history, memories and experience, they evoke images that are at once disturbing and comforting.
