Bookshop Situation Series: Maider López

Maider López has been working for three years with a project for the swimming pool at Hammarkullen (Göteborg). This project is part of the “Konst händer” program at Statens konstråd related to public art in contact with civil society. López has an extensive career dealing with the public sphere and exhibitions, space, performance and history.

During the event, some projects by Maider López will be observed, with special attention to her work in Hammarkullen. Her publication Desplazamiento will be presented.

This activity is organised with Statens Konstråd and supported by the Spanish Embassy in Stockholm.

The Bookshop Situation Series at Index is based on events to present books, magazines, records and other artistic formats. The bookshop situation is a way to test content, to share it, to distribute it, offering situations to be part of a community of experimental producers and users.
