CHANGING PLACES with Lara Almarcegui and Per Hasselberg

8 May–9 June 2002

“This exciting group exhibition is about urban spaces, architecture and places at the intersection of private and public. Per Hasselberg reveals hidden connections between Tiergarten in Berlin, an apartment on Lilla Essingen and a modernist housing complex in Malmö. Lara Almarcegui takes us to a number of ‘non-places’ in Amsterdam. And from his window in a residential building in Lodz, Poland, Jósef Robakowski has for 21 years (!) videotaped people and events in his vicinity. With warmth and humor, he talks about his neighbors and their regular habits.”
