We're very happy that these characters begin a new chapter following the exhibition at Index, and thank Teresa Solar for her generosity in donating her artworks.

Following the finissage of Teresa Solar’s exhibition RIDE RIDE RIDE at Index in January 2020, a selection of Solar’s sculptures remained in Stockholm, beginning a new chapter with our friends and collaborators at S:t Eriks gymnasium. These sculptures – including the extruded ice-cream, the orca whale and Curro, the cheeky (nose-less) mascot from the Seville expo, now reside in the Film and Media department and S:t Eriks. The students of the Media, Society and Aesthetics programs can work with the sculptures in their projects, playing with scenography and filmic contexts.

We’re so delighted that these characters get to find a new home, and thank Teresa Solar for her generosity.
