Index presenting September Sessions 2024 at the Venice Biennale
The Index team will be in Venice for the pre-opening of the 60th Biennale di Venezia, where director Marti Manen will be speaking, together with Mint director Emily Fahlén, about the returning format of September Sessions – A Contemporary Art Festival in Stockholm. The conversation takes place at a reception held by IASPIS, also in celebration of the artists Lap-See Lam, one of three artists collaborating on the Nordic Pavilion, and Valeria Montti Colque, the artist presented at the Chilean Pavilion, who performed at Lilljevalchs as part of the 2023 edition of September Sessions.

At this time, it feels critical that Index is able to continue to be engaged in an active discourse with colleagues and collaborators both locally and internationally.

September Sessions – A Contemporary Art Festival in Stockholm is launching its second edition this autumn with a programme spread over various art organizations in the city as well as public spaces in Stockholm. It hosts exhibitions, performances, film screenings, IASPIS Open Studios and social gatherings. September Sessions is an initiative by Mint and Index. The 2024 edition will feature a specific program curated by the Spanish curatorial duo Yaby.
