Index – The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation is offering internship opportunities for students who want to broaden their education and professional experience.
Index offers experience by working and learning in a not-profit art institution in a challenging, hands-on environment. The organization presents a year-round programme of ambitious exhibitions of contemporary art, events and educational activities. Interns have the opportunity to participate in the development and expansion of these programmes and participate in daily operations.
Internships are offered on a full-time basis for at least six weeks, during which a specific target project as well as daily assignments will be completed. Interns also participate in departmental meetings, special events, various educational programs and mediation.
Applications are welcome on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed quarterly. Applications are now open for internships starting from September 2016. Please note that Index is unable to offer paid internships.
