Talking with Pauline Curnier Jardin: Film production and ways of doing
Connect to Index’s latest podcast featuring a conversation between Pauline Curnier Jardin and Index director Marti Manen. Listeners are invited into a realm of processions, saints, cults and the actions that are part of the artist’s unique cosmology. It is a conversation which jumps from holy figures to the surroundings of Paris and from confession boxes to the intense passion exposing an artist’s visionary practice.

The podcast is available on Spotify and Index’s website.

ITAB in Helsinki
Index (Stockholm), Praksis (Oslo) and Publics (Helsinki) are three institutions in continuous dialogue regarding learning, futures and agency for young generations within the arts.

During October 2021, the Teen Advisory boards from Index and Praksis visited Publics in Helsinki to continue thinking, writing, talking and acting about ways of visiting exhibitions and understanding the institutions as situations for learning and interaction. Publics, our sibling institution in Helsinki, is planning to open its own youth board soon. Knowledge and experiences from ITAB and PTAB will be a great starting point for the process at Publics.

In addition, as part of our project “In Character” the youngsters will be defining a couple of publications and events to further share insight about these ways of doing.
